• 5+ years experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications in Windows/UNIX environments
• Thorough knowledge of J2EE frameworks
• Communicate well in English
• Excellent analytical skills
• In depth knowledge of Object Oriented principles
• Good understanding of Software Engineering methodologies and design patterns
• Experience in Modeling (UML), MVC, application servers such as BeaWeblogic, IBM Websphere, Tomcat or JBoss, testing tools such as JUnit, Cactus,
• Familiarity and experience with rapid prototyping
• Also interested in open source web technologies like PHP/MYSQL

He/she should be able to play the software architect role from the offshore development center.
